On Sept. 4, at 10 a.m., Erin Pfahler started her weekly adaptive yoga class at Passion Works Studio. Similar to the mission of Passion Works, Pfahler’s class is focused on inclusion and is dedicated to working with people who have disabilities. Trained at Bella Vita Yoga School in North Carolina, Pfahler brings the practice of slow movements and the theme of being present and connecting with yourself to Passion Works, Athens Yoga and Bhodi Tree Studios. Pfahler believes yoga should be available to anyone, regardless of their physical capabilities, and wants to show that the practice can take on many diverse forms.
